Surveys, installation and maintenance

Site surveys, sign installation, maintenance and removals, available on their own including for signage manufactured by somebody else.

The part most suppliers skip

A sign is only as good as the survey that preceded it and the fixing that holds it up. We keep both in house, which is why we are willing to install signage we did not make and why a snagging return costs us an hour rather than a day.

If you have artwork and a manufacturer but no installer, or a portfolio of sites with signage that needs checking and maintaining, that is work we take on its own.

What a survey actually covers

Dimensions taken from the building rather than the drawing, substrate and fixing checks, power availability and isolator position, access and traffic management requirements, photographs of the elevation, and the planning position. It takes about an hour.

Services in this family

Two professional sign fitters installing an aluminium fascia on a commercial building using a guardrailed mobile elevated work platform, high visibility clothing, helmets, realistic equipment and fixings.

What we take on

Survey only

Measured survey and photographs supplied to you or your manufacturer. Quoted per visit and confirmed before booking.

Installation only

Fitting signage produced elsewhere, provided we can survey the fixing beforehand.

Maintenance

Lamp and driver replacement, cleaning, refacing and panel changes across multiple sites.

Removal

Taking down redundant signage and making good the elevation at end of lease.

Planning

Advertisement consent and listed building applications prepared and submitted on your behalf.

Common questions

Will you install a sign you did not make?

Yes, provided we can survey the fixing beforehand. That is not a formality: if the substrate will not take the fixing, or the sign has been made to the wrong size, it is better found before access equipment is booked.

What does a signage site survey cover?

Dimensions taken from the building rather than the drawing, substrate and fixing checks, power availability and isolator position, access and traffic management requirements, photographs of the elevation, and the planning designation.

Do you maintain signage across multiple sites?

Yes. Scheduled inspections with a condition report, plus reactive repairs for damage and illumination faults, handled on one account across a portfolio.

Need a surveyor or an installer?

Tell us where the building is and what is going up. We will confirm whether we can survey this week.
